There are currently two methods for electrode coating:

• Comma scraper reverse roll transfer coating:

  Comma blade transfer coating is developed from the principle of roller coating. The technology is  mature, easy to operate, and widely used. It can be applied to slurry coating of almost any type of lithium ion battery.

• Slot Die Coating Machine

  Slot extrusion coating is an advanced precision coating technology that can accurately control the coating amount. It is the development direction of automotive power battery electrode coating. It is suitable for large-scale continuous production, but for slurry dispersion and rheology,the performance and control of operating conditions are strict.

 Currently TOB has researched and developed successful intermittent coating technology. 

How to check the performance of electrode coating machine:

  There are many technical performance indicators of electrode coating machine, more than twenty, no matter which coating method is selected, focus on the three core items when purchasing:

a.Coating precision 

b.Energy efficiency ratio of coating machine

c.Cost-effective
